Darren Sammy has announced his retirement from Test cricket after being sacked from captaincy. Sammy, who was replaced by Denesh Ramdin as the new skipper, has led West Indies in 30 matches ever since taking over from Chris Gayle in October 2010 after Gayle turned down a WICB central contract.
